Problem: I am asked repeatedly to install the Adobe Flash movie plugin while using google chrome but each time I try to download and install it fails.
Solution:
Step 1: Type http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/xpi/current/flashplayer-win.xpi in your browser address bar and download the flash player for windows xpi file.
Step 2: Rename the downloaded file to .zip
Step 3: Now open zip file and copy these files from archive flashplayer.xpt and NPSWF32.dll
Step 4: Paste these files in to C/Documents and settings/”your account name folder“/Local Settings/Application Data/Google/Chrome/Application/Plugins/
Step 5: Paste both the files in this plugins folder and then close your Chrome browser and restart it
Step 6: Voila! Working fine
